Ra.One : "Random Access: Version One" as well as the mythological character Ravana who is a mixture of ten different evil characters.
G.One :  The Good One  or Jeevan, a superhero who saves the mankind from Ra.One's torment.
 
6.         Will it be released in 3D only? Because I hate watching movies in 3D.
 
No, just like every other film in 3D-Ra.One would release in both 3D and 2D formats. And it would be dubbed in both Tamil & Telugu and perhaps some other languages !

7.       What is the budget of Ra.One?
 
Well, the film is still in Post-production, so there are NO confirmed news, but reports of media has estimated it to be between 140-175 crores.(Pffew-We know :O)
 
8.       For how much have the Satellite and music rights been sold?
 
Ra.One had been sold to Star India for a record sum of INR 35 crore. As for Music rights, they’ve been sold to T-series for 15 crores (both the highest ever).
 
9.       What is the story of this film ?
 
Well to cut it short, it’s a story of a family that faces hardship when a bad guy comes after them. Of course since it’s a superhero film, Good vs Evil is an obvious angle. So, it’s about, Family, romance, action, with a si-fi angle.
 
10.   Is it true that Sanjay Dutt and Priyanka Chopra Have done cameos in the film ?
 
Yes, It’s true.  They’ll be featured in an action-packed sequence involving their characters and G.One.
 
11.   Does Shahrukh khan play a double role in the film?
 
Yes. He plays both G.One the superhero and Shekhar, a South Indian game designer whose main aim in life is to win back the love of his son
 
12.   Who is the kid and what character does he play ?
 
Armaan Verma is a child actor being introduced in Ra.One for the first time, so little is known about him currently.
He plays,  Prateek/Lucifer, Shekhar and Sonia’s 13 years old son. A video-gaming freak that loves villains and feels that heroes are boring and predictable. Prateek doesn’t get along with his nerdy father and is embarrassed by his loud Punjabi mother.
 
13.   Can G.One fly?
 
Well if you’re expecting him to fly like Superman then the answer is No! He can Parkour.

The film’s first half happens in London then the story moves to Goa, India.

17.    Why is the film named after the Villain?
 
According to SRK and I quote: the negative characters in films stands out, like we remember Gabbar Singh, Mogambo, Shakaal ....(....)...So in these films with negative characters, Hero has to arrive becoming a larger than life character, so I thought...even when I see Batman I remember Joker character...so I just felt that this will be different and unique, Ra.One is evil and evil doesnt have any physicality, we can become evil anytime, so this is the logic behind and I have kept the name of the film Ra.One

19.    Why haven’t we seen Ra.One yet?

Why so interested in the Villain? Isn’t the most important part in a Superhero film is well obviously the superhero? Nevertheless, you will see Ra.One, on the big screen, when you’ll go watch the film.

20.    What about the Video Game?

Ra.One is the first Bollywood film to have its own PS2 & PS3 game. It’s coming out mid to end of October and it serves as a prequel to the story of the film. 
 
21.     Is it true that The VG has 2 kareenas? One good and On bad? and will it be the case for the film as well?
According to SRK, Yes there are 2 kareenas! As for the film No, there is only one Kareena, she's good and she doesn't do any fignting what so ever.

The film's music launch took place in a huge set at Mumbai's Film City where performances were seen by the film's music directors and cast members. Radio Mirchi ran a contest through which it gave its listeners a chance to not only attend the music launch event but also meet the stars of the film. The event was attended by over 700 people from various media outlets and was also telecast live on YouTube. Ra.One became the first Bollywood film to sell the rights of its music launch telecasting to a television channel.

Ra.One Characters-in actual English

G.ONE (The Good One)
G.one stands for the ‘Good one’. He is made of electricity and is programmed to protect. He is infused with powers to fly, speak different languages and control probability amongst other things. G.One’s powers are centered in his HART. (Hertz Amplifying Resonance Transmitter) What makes G.one endearing is his bond with the kid – Prateek. He is not just another super hero with weapons and metal parts… He is a superhero with a H. A. R. T.


  
PRATEEK SUBRAMANIAM
Prateek is A – bad ass whiz kid, and an ace video game player. He is in the school rock band and plays for the school football team, and loves to skateboard, but video games is his first love and he is capable of playing even the most difficult games with ease. Prateek belongs to the ‘bad is cool’ set of kids. He loves villains and feels that heroes are boring and predictable. Just Like any other teenage kid, Prateek doesn’t get along with his nerdy father and is embarrassed by his loud Punjabi mother, so he mostly hangs out with his friends and his video games.

SHEKHAR SUBRAMANIAM
Shekhar is a South Indian game designer, who still hasn’t come up with a single successful video game. Shekhar is a fun loving guy, who loves his family but spends most of his time in his game design lab rather than with his family the only problem in his life is his estranged relationship with his son, Prateek. A relationship which he tries to better but usually ends up making it worst. Shekhar’s main aim in life is to win back the love of his son, for which he is ready to try every trick in the book. A foodie at heart, he has some really weird eating habits. Apart from food Shekhar also loves quoting great philosophers and revolutionaries, while at the same time adding his own modern day twist to it.

SONIA SUBRAMANIAM
Sonia is a beautiful punjabi woman, full of life and zest. She is ready to face any obstacles that come her way, except modern technology. Sonia is technologically challenged and she literally runs away from technology. A feminist by nature, Sonia aims to pen down a book on male centric abuses. Amongst the family of three – Sonia often finds herself acting as an adhesive between her geeky husband Shekhar and her cool son Prateek, who are constantly fighting. Sonia is hopeful that one day this father- son duo will finally bond.
